Overview & problem
Originally designed as an MVP, the design of the AI-powered template constrained our ability to enhance the user experience with additional features. Facing this roadblock while wanting to enhance the generative output with DaVinci-003, our team decided to update the experience to fit future needs.
Goals
Enhance the user experience to seamlessly integrate DaVinci-003 output and redesign the flow to ensure upcoming improvements aren't impeded by the existing design.
Role
Led the design strategy, collaborated with Head of Design to finalize components.
Users could now generate more descriptive content through our wizard, but the average generation time was a thirty seconds to two minutes. To improve user perception and experience, we needed a loading solution that added value rather than creating a negative impression.
Users identified that the tool was easier to use and were thrilled they could create a higher quality and more detailed blog post. From a business perspective, our team was excited that the new design provided flexibility to continually expand the experience and add additional features.
